Rose’s Room is named after Rose Bianconi, the original owner of Montadale Country Club. She and her husband, Gino emigrated from Gubbio, Italy in 1921 after their marriage, and began their partnership as business owners in 1949. Montdale started as a bar with a simple 2-item menu: pizza and meatballs.
Today among the rattling pans, you’ll still hear rumblings of Italian, and Marie, Rose’s daughter, interrupting your dinner conversation to ask whether anyone needs more sauce for their dish or more soup in their bowl. Or Diane, Rose’s daughter-in-law, asking if anyone would like to try her handmade dessert of the week. You can’t say no to her Giant Crème Puffs – perfectly cooked puffs of fresh, hand folded, lightly-sweet crème!
Our highly skilled chefs create many of the original Montdale favorites as well as many more Italian dishes with a new-age twist. In addition, we also offer other delicious cuisine features.
But some things will never change at Montdale. You will always be treated like family. Oh, and Rose’s famous red sauce? It will start to taste like home.
